Bday/awesome weekend

So I have been behind on my updates. Sorry to our humble followers. Last weekend was alot of fun It was my brithday. One of my friends had a party at his place which was a good time, then we went out to the bars. I danced a fool, and my friend happend to get me on video lol. We did alot of stuff outside cus of the wonderful weather. The best thing about the people who I hang out with is that they are all always willing to do stuff. We rode bikes played catch and did what ever else we could until we decided to go out and party. This weekend was great to. Friday night I got a little seperated from my friends, and went home and went to bed a bit early. Saturday was a blast though we biked during the day, and just hung out. Then met back up and went to a party and had an awesome time. We didnt make it to the bars this weekend but still had just as much fun if not more then usual. Sorry to everyone else who did have a good weekend, I hope i dont seem like im rubbing it in lol. The weekend didnt end after Saturday night either. We went to a friends cousins house had some good food, went mushrooming swimming, and played some horseshoes. And the weekend ended with a hilarious movie called role modles. If you havent watched it yet I would recomend that you do. The end of the year is aproaching and its depressing. I dont watn to leave my friends here, but I will be happy to get to see some friends from home and finally have money again from working. Well thats all from me for now. I hope everyone enjoys their rest of their time here in Cdale, and that summer goes good for everyone.

Horrible Weekend

So I had a lot of expectations for this weekend, it was suppose to be a good one but of course it turned out to be one of the worst weekends EVER! I went out with my friend Cathi and a couple other guys and they just ended up pissing me off. A couple of the guys got in a fight over something really dumb and they were just being really rude to me. I just tried to ignore it and have fun. We went to a house party which turned out to be really lame, so we headed towards the bars. As I was walking, I thought I saw a group of my friends so I wasnt looking in front of me and sure enough I tripped over a curb and completley messed up my foot. It hurt really really bad! Campus security came by and did absoloutley nothing. So I just continued to the bars, hopefully getting some ice there. They didnt have anything. So i just went home in pain and I also found out the guy I kinda like might be with another girl... good night. The next morning my foot felt horrible so i tried to go to the health center but they were closed! Why they are closed on a Saturday, I have no idea. I didnt want to stay in on a Saturday night, especially when it was so nice out. I made myself and my friend atleast go to the bars to chill. That was a mistake too. Not fun at all. They were super crowded and we didnt see anyone we knew there. Lately these weekends have not been fun, maybe its a good thing we only have one left!

Well I went home this weekend because I had death in the family...yeah thats all I have people.

FAKE ID'S

Last weekend just sucked! Some of my friends back home came and visited me on Saturday. I was really excited to take them out to the bars since back at home you have to be 21 or older to get in. Here you only have to be 19. So me an my friends get ready and head to the bars. My friend Tiffany is 19 but she has her sisters old ID that says she is older then 21. So we all pay to get in and the bouncer is looking at Tiffany's ID and starts questioning her about her ID. He asked her what her address was and she didn't know it! So they took her ID. The rest of us weren't going to go to the bar without her so we all went to my dorm. It was already one so there was no point paying to go to another bar when it would have closed in an hour. Seriously if you are going to have fake ID memorize the info thats on it!

80's night!

Mostly every Wednesday you will see me at Stix for 80's night! I look more forward to Wednesday than the weekend! It's always a good time. Stix of course plays great 80's music. There's real cheap drink specials on 80's night too. Plus if you get to Stix early enough you dont have to pay cover which is awesome! Everyone is up and dancing to 80's music, having fun. It's just a really good energy going on. I have not had a boring Wedneday yet! There's always a really good turn out for 80's night too. One thing I love about Carbondale is there is always something to do! Doesnt matter what day it is either. I think there is different things for people to do too. Like if you want a more club environment then go to Cali's. If you want a more relax place theres Stix. I recently went to Copper Dragon about a week ago for my first time and I loved it! They had the band Dot Dot Dot play. They did a lot of really good cover songs. They kept the crowd pumped all night long. Finally the clock hit two and everyone had to go. The badn walk off stage and the crowd kept chanting "one more song!" so the band played one more song. It was a really good time and the band was really good. It was nice to do something different. I don't see how anyone could be bored down here.

Long Weekend

So this weekfend was pretty crazy/ kind of a blur haha friday was really fun,my friends and i just hung out in their room and had a good time before we went to the bars. I rarley ever just stay in the dorms til its time to go to the bars, but we decided to Friday. I actually think its alot more fun than going to a house party sometimes. You're just there with your friends having a good time. House parties are usually super crowded and annoying. Your in line forever at the keg and everyone just sticks to their own group. Its rare to meet someone new at a house party. So after hanging out in my friends room, we then went to callis. I danced the entire time it was a lot of fun. We ran into some of my friends there and ended up just going back to their room and hanging out. Friday was a good night. Saturday was ok. We ended up going to a house party which was ok and then I ended up meeting my brother at Pinch. Bad idea. He kept buying shot after shot for me, thats when everything kind of becomes a blur, but oh well it happens. Overall a pretty decent weekend.

Papers are taking over

So I definitely haven't been on here and years and you know why? Papers! All I seem to do in class are research papers. My weekends have been hectic since Players Ball weekend. I must say it has payed off.  3 A's on 3 consecutive papers isn't to bad at all. This weekend will be full of illegal substances and alcohol but I wont consume any. Its my friends birthday and he is going to celebrate his ass off. Shoot You Guys a Post Monday Morning when its all over.

This was an awesome weekend for me, I had a crap ton of fun with some good friends like usual. On the topic of creepers, I can see where your coming from Jenna. Not this weekend but the last I had a creeper. I made the mistake of having a pitty dance with her, and it led to a ngiht of following me around. I even managed to ditch the girl a couple times, but she found me again! I may have been a lil bit intoxicated and gave her false intentions, but I thought the blatent ditch would have been a clue? I guess not. I am not saying that im innocent in the whoel creeper thing my self. I do not go to the extreme of bugging the girl until she pittifully dances with me, but i will admit that i do randomly go dance with people sometimes. Its all in good fun though, you never know you may meet a really cool chick that way. I enjoy the bars, but its prob not so bad for guys as it is girls. at Calis on Saturday, my friend and my self went a little bit earlier then usual and there was a group of girls alone on the dance floor. We went up and danced with them, and it led to everyone moving up to the dance floor and it getting packed. I wish Calis had fans haha It gets so hot in their when everyone is running around going crazy. I love going seeing some cool people having some crazy story to talk about with your friends the next day, or even try and piece the night together and figure stuff out. I Believe that the song that is about college life is true, and I agree i would like to stay here forever. The area around here and the people i know are awesome. I believe coming to Carbondale was probably the best choice i ever made.

Creepers Continued

I totally agree with Jenna's post and I think every girl on campus can too! The creepers definitley out number the good looking guys. I usually love to dance when I go out, but recently I haven't enjoyed it because of all the weirdos! So latley I've just been dancing with my girls, but that doesnt even work. The creepers still come up right behind you and start grabbing you and grinding. UGH!! You try to shake them off but they dont listen and some even get really upset! Once my friend told this one guy no and he flipped out on her and was yelling at her! Guys if you want to dance with a girl please ask her before you just start grinding on her. One weekend night I almost broke my leg getting away from a creeper! He was at the same party I was at and he kept following me so my friend and I walked upstairs into this attic where only a few kids were at chillen and sure enough he found a way up there. I saw him walking towards me so I had to make a run for it. The stairs going back down were extremly steep and I was in heels. I was in a hurry and I tripped and tumbled down all those stairs! It was actually kind of funny haha I couldnt help but laugh at myself, but I still landed up with a huge bruise all because of a creeper!!!
